RELAX AND REJUVENATE AT LOGGERHEAD CAY
TESTIMONIALS
The perfect home away from home

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the use of the condo and it’s proximity to Loggerhead’s private beach and pool as well as the island’s many bike paths, restaurants, beaches and wildlife. The unit had everything we needed including the use of two bikes that we definitely took advantage of. Enjoying long bike rides every morning. What a great way to see more of the island, I highly recommend! We also had our own private bedrooms and baths. A great feature when we were both getting ready after a day at the pool/beach for an evening watching the sunset at Mucky Duck’s with a white wine margarita and then onto dinner where we enjoyed fresh seafood at a variety of different restaurants, all were quite delicious. And if you don’t want to eat every meal out, the home has a nicely supplied kitchen. We chose to pick up food for breakfast and lunch and eat dinners out. As a huge bonus, the weather was perfect, mid 80s and sunny. We were already planning our next trip by the 2nd day of our stay!

Nice, clean 1st floor condo – perfect for four people. Could put up two additional on sofabed, but sofa looked a little “tired” so I wonder how comfortable it would be for sleeping. Condo needs some repairs and updating, but nothing that affected our enjoyment of our vacation. Two nice bedrooms. Second bedroom has extra door to make bath en suite.
BEAUTIFUL beach – with sandbars to make it especially nice for swimming. Shells were plentiful, but not a lot of big ones this year. No beach view from unit, but beach is just off the condo property.
Lots of possibilities for dinner out (Matzaluna was excellent and Island Pizza was very tasty), and we enjoyed breakfast and lunch “at home”.
Ding Darling Wildlife refuge is well worth the trip. Off Island side trip to the Edison /Ford Winter Estates in Ft. Myers was interesting.

Sanibel Stay

The master bathroom fan was very noisy and the first day there I thought it may not be functioning properly. Also, the tub in the master bath had mold and mildew. Even if the tub was clean, the black around the tub didn’t give the appearance of being clean. I must say though that the rest of the condo was very nice and would stay there again.

Owner’s Response: The fan is a very high speed and required by the Home Owners Assoc to draw moisture out of the bathroom to avoid mold and mildew in a high moisture environment. The fan can be shut off by flipping the wall switch. My cleaning lady said there is not mold in the tub. In the back lower corner where the shower door frame meets the tub, there is some discolored caulking. I will get this area recaulked so that future guests do not have to be concerned. Thanks for you input, Jim Oman
